Young people have new visions and fresh innovations.
Do not discourage them.
Do not puncture their vision.
Do not say to their dreams, “impossible.”
Do not attempt to scuttle their aspiration.
After all, we pray for them to do far greater than we have done and bigger than we will ever do.
Our job is to counsel them, teach and train them, inspire them, show them the way, and offer them whatever we have to assist them.
But never, ever stand on their way.
Supporting them will bring glory and honor back to us when they have succeeded, because they will always refer to us as their inspiration to succeed.
In any case they will succeed whether we encourage or discourage them.
So, what do you lose encouraging them or what do you gain discouraging them?
The story of Saul and David when he was approaching battle with Goliath refers. 1 Samuel 17:31-39, 54-58.
