- In a work place, it is more profitable to be a student than be a staff
- A learner than being an earner
- Jesus called learners (students) not earners (staff) – Matt. 4:19; 11:28, 39.
- Whereas staff are paid, students are made
- Pay can expire but there is no end to being made
- But who is a student? A Follower!
- Staff work with time but students follow 24/7 just as Peter did even after Jesus was arrested – Matt. 26:58
- Staff can severe especially if there issues with the one whom he refers to as boss
- A student will never detach from his master
- The 50 who stopped following Elijah were staff, only Elisha was student – 2Kgs. 2:1-15
- Only Joshua and Caleb were students of Moses – Ex. 33:11; Num. 14:24; 32:12
