A believer who is no longer hungry for God is doomed without knowing.
We are created to be hungry for God and restless until we find rest in Him.
It is in coming to Him and abiding with Him that we can find rest in our soul – Matthew 11:28,29.
It is in longing for Him that we can follow hard after Him – Psalm 63:1,2,8.
It is in hunger and thirst for Him that we can become filled by Him – Matthew 5:6; Isa. 44:3.
The only way to have more is to want more.
Hunger for God should be a permanent thing in the believer.
It is the indicator for our spiritual liveliness – once the believer is no more hungry for God, He is no longer in touch with God.
It takes a burning desire to grant the believer access to fresh fire.
What you don’t desire, you don’t deserve.
You’ll never take a part of what you don’t pant for.
Never try to pacify your hunger.
The cure to hunger is to satisfy
It is not to pacify it, and the only way to satisfy hunger is to patiently settle down to feed.
The best you can do if you are in a hurry to feed is to pacify your hunger.
