It is the platform for contacting divine help.

Prayer is for those who acknowledge their helplessness and greatly desire divine help. Hebrews 4:16.

God will never cease to work for as long as we cease not to pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

He is committed to answering only to the extent of our asking.
