It is not in God’s tradition to call leaders, but servants.
He calls servants and makes leaders out of them when judged faithful.
Leaders are raised from servants.
In the “race” of servants to leadership, faithfulness is what wins.
Real servants don’t struggle to become leaders, they simply serve faithfully.
The seat/position of leadership is never the motivation or dream of genuine servants, it is rather a natural sequence.
Called servants made leaders include
Just as anyone can be called but only few are willing to go through the process of being made.
The calling of a man is not the same as making of the man.
Call is appointment.
Making is preparation.
Confirmation of the man comes after preparation.
It is not all whom Jesus called that were made.
It is not all that answered Gideon’s call that were made to go to war.
