THE REALITY OF SUPERNATURAL EMPOWERMENT

–           Nothing puts man on the floor like powerlessness – Proverbs 24:10.

–           Whatever overcame you first, overpowered you, you cannot be overcome unless you are first overpowered.

–           What power is;

It is ability (being enabled) to prevail

It is gaining ascendancy

It is assuming superiority position

–           You need greater power to counter negative powers.

–           We live in the world of power. Luke 10:1,2,18,19, Ephesians 6:12-18.

–           We access this greater power in prayer by wrestling our way through.

  Genesis 32:24-28, Ephesians 6:12-18.

When we wrestle in prayer,

–           We are upgraded to prince to prevail over principalities

–           We are brought into power union with God to transcend the powers of the enemy – Acts 4:23-33.

–           The powers that be threatens us to drive us to God in prayer (Genesis 32:11; Acts 4:17,29)

From there we return with power as prince to prevail over principalities and powers (Genesis 33:4; Acts 4:31,33).
