He is never eager to show to people what he knows but seeks to know what he hasn’t known that he ought to know. 1 Cor.8:2
Contrariwise, a proud dummy quickly wants people to recognize what he has.
The practice of a true learner is observation.
He is always eager to pick lessons at every passing moment and event – nothing escapes his curious eyes.
The ear is not enough a medium of learning.
