Covetousness is an evil spirit that runs its victims crazy over things that are not needed and has the capacity to destroy them.
Covetousness is always in pursuit of “want” in negligence of what is needed and satisfying.
The lasting cure to covetousness is contentment which comes by divine supply of what one needs. – Philippians 4:19; 1Timothy 6:8-10.
The live-wire of contentment is a deep and strong sense of appreciation to God – Zechariah 4:10; Hebrews 13:5,6.
Contentment frees one from anxiety and competition sense with others – 2 Corinthians 10:12; Matt. 6:25-33.
It also frees one from material consciousness – Luke 12:15.
Contentment motivates absolute trust in God – Genesis 14:21-23.
